Adventure Abroad Awaits

Why You Should Visit Gongju Today

It feels so surreal, but I have been living in the beautiful city of Gongju for two months now! For those of you who are unaware of the city of Gongju – or the Chungnam province altogether – I want to show you some pictures that would convince you to visit Gongju. We’ll start with some from my trip to Gansangseong Fortress. You can read my post here.

Here are some taken at a Cherry Blossom festival in Donghaksa. I love that this place is surrounded by mountains. That means that no matter where I go, I always get to see something beautiful. This also means there are plenty of places to go for a hike. You can read about my trip to the Donghaksa Cherry Blossom Festival here.

Here are some pictures of a small park around the corner of my apartment – it’s located behind Jeiem(a mechanic)! Even the park has some amazing greenery!

Here are some pictures taken of the amazing view. A couple of them are from my trip to the Royal Tomb of King Muryeong, while others are taken during my excursion at the Hanok village. Some were even taken from the aforementioned fortress. You can read about those trips here, here, and here.

How could you not fall in love with this place? What do you think of this town I now get to call home?

What’s the most beautiful town you’ve ever seen?

Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.
